Selah Base Race is an annual half-marathon and 5k in Selah, WA, uniting individuals from across the state for common purpose: to run and raise money for The Soldiers Project. Residents from all walks of life come to run together and raise awareness of those suffering from PTSD.

The half-marathon course is a scenic one, winding into the Yakima Training Center (lasting about 3 miles). From the patriotic opening ceremony to your final steps across the finish line, you’ll enjoy participating the Base Race here in Selah.

Celebrate the weather and a good cause at our Autumn Festival

To increase awareness and funds for the Soldier Project, Selah Base Race holds an annual Autumn Festival every year. Come and enjoy our festival and half-marathon in Selah, WA and we promise you’ll have an all-around incredible time at the event.

The Base Race’s half-marathon and festival will become a significant part of the local Selah community. Participants will be able to enjoy:

• Appearances from the local celebrities and veterans
• Opening ceremony speech from Selah’s mayor, Sherry Raymond
• Silent auction of great donated materials and gifts from sponsors
